Where can I purchase tickets?

Do I need to book in advance or can I walk in?

You can book in advance online or walk in on the day. We reserve a certain number of tickets for in-person bookings. However we strongly recommend booking ahead to guarantee your preferred time, as wait times can be long during peak periods.

Can tickets be refunded or rescheduled?

Tickets are non-refundable.
For bookings of under 10 guests, tickets may be rescheduled via your booking portal up to 4 hours before your scheduled start time. If you have pre purchased tickets, you will receive access to a link to reschedule your booking, on your booking confirmation email. After this point, tickets cannot be rescheduled.

Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?

Yes. Tickets can be transferred to another person.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No. Tickets can be shown on your phone on arrival.
Tickets can also be purchased in person on the day, subject to availability.

Do you charge a booking fee?

Our pricing is clear and transparent, with a flat rate and no hidden charges.

Do you offer a student discount?

Yes. We offer 20% off standard adult tickets for students with valid student ID. For groups of 20+ students we offer a discounted rate of £10.95 per student.

How do I get access to concession tickets?

Our concession tickets include Over 60's, Bluelight, students and local residents (Canterbury)

Please bring proof of your eligibility and present it upon arrival. For residents, we ask for proof of address.

Do you offer group bookings?

We accommodate up to 10 guests per time slot.
For exclusive or larger group bookings, availability is limited online, so please contact us directly to discuss your visit.

What if the time I want is fully booked online?

You can visit The Canterbury Tales without a prior reservation. We reserve 50% of our available tickets specifically for walk-in visitors, allowing you to purchase tickets on-site without booking in advance. However, please note that walk-in tickets are subject to availability, so while we encourage visitors to try arriving without a reservation, securing your tickets in advance is recommended to guarantee entry, especially during peak times.
